Vetr
For licensed US veterinarians · California opening first

Practice on your terms.

Vetr is a veterinary telehealth marketplace. California opens first, with more states to follow. See patients over telehealth on your own schedule — set your rates, take the consults that fit, and get paid per completed visit.

Payouts are live — founding vets get paid per completed consult.

Why vets choose Vetr

Telehealth on your terms — autonomy, flexibility, and a fair cut of every visit.

Set your own rates

You decide your standard and emergency telehealth fees. No fixed pay grade, no negotiating with a clinic owner — your rate is yours.

Patients come to you

Consults route to available, in-state vets through a shared pool. Accept what fits, decline the rest — no client-hunting, no marketing yourself.

Work from your couch

No rent, no front desk, no commute. Telemedicine veterinarians earn an industry-reported $100–150/hr — that's a market range, not a Vetr guarantee.

Practice where you're licensed

Prescriptions where permitted by state law. Today that's FL, CA, VA, VT, AZ, NY, NJ, and OH (8 states). You only see consults in states where you hold a license.

How the pool works

No assigned caseload, no chasing clients. Consults route to whoever's available and eligible.

  1. 1

    An owner books a consult

A pet owner requests a telehealth visit — with no specific vet attached.

  2. 2

    It's offered to eligible vets

The consult is offered to available, in-state, licensed vets through a shared pool.

  3. 3

    First to accept takes it

The first vet to accept gets the visit. Decline the ones that don't fit, no penalty.

  4. 4

Run the visit + SOAP report

Meet over secure video, write your SOAP report, and prescribe where state law permits.

  5. 5

    48-hour follow-up window

A short follow-up window keeps care continuous after the consult.
